Compose

Send an email from connect@cobanq.co.uk with the CoBanq signature, without opening Gmail. Every email is logged against the contact's history.

Tips

  • Type a name or company in "To" to pick an existing contact.
  • Leave out the sign-off and signature; "Best regards," plus the full CoBanq signature are added automatically.
  • Replies land in the Inbox page like any other, with an AI-suggested answer.
  • Anything you send is logged on the Customers page under that contact.

    Train the AI

Write instructions in plain English. The agent reads every one of these before it writes an email. Keep each one short and specific: one idea per line.

    Add an instruction

    Examples that work well

    • "Never quote a specific FX rate or percentage saving."
    • "For logistics companies, lead with paying overseas carriers."
    • "Sound like a colleague, not a salesperson. No buzzwords."
    • "If the company is a recruitment agency, mention contractor payroll."

    Current instructions

Newest at the bottom. Delete anything that is no longer true.

What CoBanq says it does, and how it sounds

These two paragraphs are the foundation of every email. Edit them in plain English.

      Targeting and schedule

Who the agent looks for, how many it emails, and when. Changes apply from the next run (lead finding runs Mondays 08:00; emails go out weekdays 09:00).

      Industries

The agent searches Apollo with the keyword and labels each lead with the name. Untick to pause an industry without deleting it.

      Who to contact

      New UK companies (Companies House)

Every morning the agent pulls yesterday's newly incorporated companies from Companies House, finds the director and a work email, and offers them a multi-currency business account with the best rates. Get a free API key at developer.company-information.service.gov.uk (Create an application → REST API key).

      Sending

      Who the emails come from

      Approvals

Tomorrow's emails, drafted the evening before with a research brief on each company. Read, edit, approve or skip.

      Inbox

Every reply a lead sent, with an answer the AI has already drafted in your tone. Edit it if you like, then send from connect@ without leaving this page.

      Experiments

For every industry the agent tests two angles, A and B, half each. Once an industry has 100 sends it shifts 80% of volume to whichever gets more replies, and keeps testing the other. Edit the angles in plain English.

Applies to the next night's drafts.

      Research agent

Every Sunday evening the research agent reads the web (UK trade data, industry bodies, recent news), looks at how each current segment is performing, and proposes the next segments to target and when. The top suggestions are added to Targeting automatically; you can dismiss any of them here.

      Compliance

Everything a reviewer would ask for: the financial-promotion log (every marketing email sent, by whom, approved by whom), the do-not-contact list, and the website enquiry form that feeds the CRM.

      Do-not-contact list

Emails or company domains the agent must never find, email or follow up. One per line or comma-separated. A domain (e.g. hsbc.co.uk) blocks everyone at that company. Opt-outs are handled separately and automatically.

Applies to the next run (lead finding, sending and follow-ups all check it).

      Website enquiry form

Paste this where you want a contact form on cobanq.co.uk (GoDaddy Website Builder: add an HTML section). Enquiries land in Customers as inbound, you get an email, and the enquirer gets an acknowledgement from connect@. They are never cold-emailed.

      Financial-promotion log

      Download CSV

Under the FCA financial promotion rules every marketing communication must be approved by an appropriate person. In manual approval mode the approver is recorded per email; in auto mode the standing approval of the templates and angles applies (record that sign-off in your compliance file). Current mode: .

      Deliverability

Whether your emails land in inboxes. Bounces above 3% in a week make the agent halve its volume automatically until it recovers.

      Domain authentication

All three must pass for connect@ email to be trusted by Gmail and Outlook.
